"I cannot recommend this company"

This is the company that does repairs for Motability in South Wales, as my car is. I was called about two weeks before the start date to check on details and hire car whilst mine was in the shop. I spoke to a lady and said that I needed a mid sized car with an automatic transmission. She agreed that this would fine. Two weeks later they came to collect my car and deliver the Small compact car with a Manual Transmission. I immediately contacted the company and spoke to a foreign woman. I told her the problem and she said the following - "The repair shop saw that you have a licence to drive Manual cars so they gave you a manual". After I stopped laughing, I actually got angry and asked her the following "As I had never shown anyone in the company my licence, how do they know when I obtained my licence and was it in a manual or automatic car?". I actually told her that the majority of people that drove Automatic cars, had, in fact a manual licence. She then informed me that there were no automatic cars available. I had to tell her to collect the the car and I had to contact Motability to get me an Automatic car. The work that was done was of a good quality but the customer service, especially on the on the telephone, needs work..
